From Empty Religion To Reverent Worship
What does true worship actually look like? In Ecclesiastes 5:1-7, the teacher warns against empty religion and calls us to approach God with reverence, humility, and integrity. Worship is not about performance, routine, or religious appearances; it begins with listening to God, speaking carefully before him, and living with wholehearted obedience. Ultimately, this passage points us to Jesus, the true worshiper, who brings sinful people near to a holy God.
It’s Not Fair!
This message from Ecclesiastes 3:16-4:12 wrestles honestly with the reality that life under the sun often feels unfair. From injustice and suffering to comparison, envy, and isolation, Ecclesiastes exposes the brokenness of both our world and our hearts. Yet the story does not end in despair. Jesus entered into our brokenness, experienced injustice himself, and through his resurrection, offers hope, contentment, and a kingdom that will never fade. If you have ever asked, “Why is life so unfair?” this message is for you.
Seasons
Life doesn’t move in straight lines – but in seasons. Some we choose, others we wouldn’t. Ecclesiastes 3 names them with honesty, yet points us beyond them. What if the meaning we’re searching for isn’t found in controlling our seasons, but in trusting the One who designs them and stands over them? There Is More - Work
Why does work – labor and toil – so often leave us feeling empty? Ecclesiastes offers a surprisingly honest answer. Work is a gift but it was never meant to be your identity.
