Volunteer Areas

  • Family Team

    You can make a difference in the developing years of a new faith journey. Connect with kids, students, or individuals impacted by disability by serving on the Family Team and guide them into growing relationships with Jesus.

    Help our community feel welcome at Calvary! Sign up for the Connect Team to assist people in navigating our buildings and finding the places and information they are looking for on a Sunday morning.

  • Tech Team

    Join our Tech Team and bring our services to life! Whether you’re adjusting microphone levels, running a camera, or setting lighting cues, you can serve our community as they watch services in person and online.

    With so many details and decisions that go into a Sunday morning service, we need an awesome team to help us manage it all. Serve as a producer, house manager, or stage hand on the Production Team.

    There are many ways that we can worship God, but one of our favorite ways is through music. You can sign up to audition for our Worship Team and be a part of leading our community in praising Jesus.

    Serve our community on the Facilities Team by helping with maintenance, event set up, keeping up with our lawns throughout the summer, removing snow in the winter, setting up and tearing down for services, seat rack team, and more.

Background Clearances

To ensure the safety of all of Calvary’s kids, all volunteer staff (ages 18+) who serve in Kids, Student, and/or Bridge Ministries are required to complete three levels of background checks; two from the state of Pennsylvania (child abuse and PA state police criminal check) and one from the FBI (fingerprinting). If you have lived in Pennsylvania for 10 years or more, you can fill out an affidavit that clears you from getting fingerprinted. Volunteer screening is a Pennsylvania state requirement that Calvary abides by.
