The Main Thing: Living Like Jesus

Drawn from selected passages in the Gospel of Luke. This series will focus on the identity, life,

mission, and ongoing impact of Jesus – calling us to align our lives with his. In December, we will examine the first two chapters of Luke as we move into the Christmas season.

Luke’s Gospel offers a unique lens on Jesus, emphasizing the Counter-cultural and counter-intuitive nature

of the Kingdom of God and the radical inclusivity of his mission. Throughout the series, we will highlight how Jesus consistently moves toward the overlooked, the outsider, and the broken – inviting people into restored relationship with God.

Grounded in a Christotelic reading of Scripture and shaped by the framework of the “Jesus Creed” (loving God & loving others), this series will help us see that Jesus is not primarily a moral example, but the rightful King who transforms every aspect of life. Our goal is both clarity and call – to deepen understanding of who Jesus is and to invite tangible, everyday obedience as we live like him.
