Psalm 121 was written for God's people walking, sometimes 90 miles on foot, up to Jerusalem, singing to pass the time. It sits between a psalm of someone crying out in danger and a psalm of pure arrival, right in the middle of the journey, not resolved yet, not celebrating yet.
