CREATING A SAFE SPACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN EXPLORE WELL
We want to help you explore well; we believe that happens in a couple of ways:
You are encouraged to be involved in a regularly-meeting small group where you can be known well.
You are encouraged to meet with a mentor on a regular basis.
You are encouraged to come to larger events that interest you.
Young Adults’ small groups are stage specific (single co-ed, married couples, married couples with kids, etc.) groups that meet on a regular basis. Reach out to Jeremiah with information about what you are interested in.

PASTOR OF CALVARY YOUNG ADULTS
Jeremiah has been married to his wife, Brianna for almost 12 years and they have 3 kids. He loves hip-hop just as much as he loves Harry Potter but probably less than he loves good food. Some people may say that he is lazy, but he prefers efficient.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
+ YOUNG ADULTS SPANS FROM 18 – 35? THAT SEEMS LIKE A WIDE RANGE DOESN'T IT?
Yes it does – on both counts! There are many stages of life that happen in that time. We think of it this way – Jeremiah (the pastor of Young Adults) is your connection point to small groups that meet your needs for your stage of life as best they can and as best as you would like them to. That means we wouldn’t expect a 35 year old and an 18 year old to hang out on a regular basis – because we know they aren’t peers.
+ OKAY SO SMALL GROUPS ARE STAGE SPECIFIC – BUT WHAT ABOUT LARGE GROUP EVENTS?
There is the chance that you may show up to a large group event where the ages of the people are quite different. We always try and plan events that age won’t effect, but if that is still something that bothers you we would encourage you to bring your small group along! If that doesn’t work – bring a friend. If neither of those work – take the risk and come alone (to meet people) or feel every freedom to skip. We are committed to offering multiple opportunities to have community, but we understand that we won’t have every person at every event.
+ WHAT IF THERE ISN'T ANYTHING THAT I SEE THAT INTERESTS ME?
Please reach out to Jeremiah and let him know, but even more than that, tell him what you would be interested in! He is open to hearing suggestions and would love your help creating more opportunities to explore well.
