Whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
Serving the poor is one of the of the visible ways that we extend the love of Christ to our community.
Our Open Hand team partners with local agencies to provide food and other resources for needy families in our area. It is a blessing to give and we are able to give much because of the generosity of the people at Calvary.
How can I help?
Calvary organizes several seasonal collections throughout the year. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off any time in the shopping carts by the main entrances. Our recent donations to Keystone Opportunity Center enabled them to serve 225 households; 199 children, 285 adults and 59 seniors! Volunteers are always welcome and there are many different ways to help. For more information, contact Cathy Kanas.
