They need our help

Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16:9

There are always people struggling through difficult times. Whether it is a kid at school going through heartache and drama or the devastating stories you hear on the news, you might ask, “What can I do? Aren’t I too young? Can I really make a difference?”

You can do something! In Christ, you have power. You have the power to pray. People need to know there is always power available. Christians have power in prayer. We also have power in giving. You may not have much but every little bit helps and God can use anything. You also have the power of volunteering. You may not have lots of money but sometimes people in need could use our time. Sometimes that looks like serving somewhere like a soup kitchen or in the nursery Sunday morning but sometimes people need our time just for us to be a listening ear and encourage them. Take time out to be SELFLESS this week. The help may not seem big to you but you never know how God is using your time and treasures to bless someone else’s life.

Ask the Lord to show you ways you can help this week. Ask Him to show you the power you have in Him to make a difference in the lives of others.
