The HOME is the CENTER of relational and spiritual growth

This ministry is designed to equip and support people for the development of healthy and biblical homes. We are excited to partner with couples, parents, and families as you grow and move through the different seasons of home life. In this partnership, we hope to provide you with sound biblical resources that will encourage and support your relationships with your spouse and /or children.

Home Field includes the following ministry areas:

• 2/1 Premarital Counseling
• Weddings
• Baby Dedications
• Family Fusion: where kids and their parents go to church
• Workshops (see below)
• Divorce Recovery
• Single Parents
  

Several times each year we have workshops where parents and married couples gather together for discussion and encouragement. These times offer a place to meet other couples who are experiencing the same joys and struggles as you are in your family relationships. We are excited to partner with couples, parents, families as they grow and move through the different seasons of home life.

Teachable Moments: Parenting Through Easter and Beyond:

As Christian parents, how do we navigate the Easter bunny, jelly beans, and Easter eggs? Home Field is pleased to provide you with a Teachable Moments resource folder filled with direction and guidance for helping you point your children to Christ during the Easter season and beyond. These folders will be available at the Home Field table in the atrium Sunday, March 14 and 21, 2010.  Be sure to stop by the Home Field table to pick one up.

Are you having a tough time figuring out what type of Bible or devotional would be best for your teenager?

Do you need some guidance in navigating the culture of movies, clothing, and music that your children are growing up in? We are excited to announce the Home Field Resource Center that's in our atrium. This area has been designed to give you an opportunity to explore a variety of devotionals, magazines, and videos in order to help you decide which material to purchase. There will also be a list of websites that you can search on your own time that can minister to you and your family. Stop by to view these materials and gather some information to help you decide which resource will benefit you, your marriage, and your family.
