Women’s Ministries at Calvary Church are uniquely designed for women of all ages.

Our goal is to:
  • Promote spiritual reproduction and growth, fostered through a climate of acceptance.
  • Provide for personal growth and encouragement through planned programs of Bible studies, focused activities, mentoring, leadership training, and prayer.
Update on Women's Ministry Meetings: Sunday, August 22 at 10:30am in Room 300 and Tuesday, August 24 at 7:00pm in Room 303. All women are invited to attend one of these meetings and hear an update on Women’s Ministry, discuss future events, and explore ways that you can get involved. There will be some good food too! Please email Denise Atkinson to RSVP.
Women's Ministries include:
  • Missionary Sewing Guild
    We meet to sew, quilt, knit, and crochet for our missionaries and their needs, as well as for Plumstead Christian School and a Pregnancy Counseling Center. The work of our hands extends to show God's love to others. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month, September through May.
  • Umbrella of Prayer
    If you are interested in praying for Women's Ministries, we would like to add your name to our mailing list. The Prayer Coordinator will mail you a monthly prayer and praise letter which will help you pray effectively for the various activities and programs.

  • Unveiled Conference for girls 12-24 and the women in their lives,  Friday and Saturday, November 12 and 13, 2010. Our desire is to be used by God to empower young women to live authentic lives of freedom and truth in the midst of a “plastic” world. Be part of a weekend filled with music, great speakers, interactive breakout sessions, a fashion show, and food!
