This ministry is designed to equip and support people for the development of healthy and biblical homes. We are excited to partner with couples, parents, and families as you grow and move through the different seasons of home life. In this partnership, we hope to provide you with sound biblical resources that will encourage and support your relationships with your spouse and /or children.

2010 WORKSHOPS

 

Several times each year we have workshops where parents and married couples gather together for discussion and encouragement. These times offer a place to meet other couples who are experiencing the same joys and struggles as you are in your family relationships. We are excited to partner with couples, parents, families as they grow and move through the different seasons of home life.

Off They Go! Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 9:00 & 10:30am, in Room 303

Are you one of the parents that recently experienced the exciting and overwhelming departure of your child to college, or perhaps they left home to be married or for a job? This workshop will focus on the transition out of the home and practical suggestions as you let them go and help them grow. We will also discuss role changes, communication and the opportunities in your life at this time. Tissues, hugs, and a good dose of encouragement provided! Are you having a tough time figuring out what type of Bible or devotional would be best for your teenager?

Do you need some guidance in navigating the culture of movies, clothing, and music that your children are growing up in? We are excited to announce the Home Field Resource Center that's in our atrium. This area has been designed to give you an opportunity to explore a variety of devotionals, magazines, and videos in order to help you decide which material to purchase. There will also be a list of websites that you can search on your own time that can minister to you and your family. Stop by to view these materials and gather some information to help you decide which resource will benefit you, your marriage, and your family.
