Small Group ministries at Calvary Church have been replaced by Home Groups. More than just a name change, Calvary Church is seeking to offer something completely new. Months of planning, researching, and studying other effective models of small group experiences at other churches have led us to form Calvary's Home Group experience. We ran a pilot for Home Groups last spring and overall the response was very positive. We’re excited about our second round of home groups this fall.

What’s a Home Group?
A Home Group is a place where 6 or more people meet to get connected, discuss topics relevant to faith and life, and even have some fun. It’s only 6-weeks long!

What is my commitment level?
Your only commitments are to do your best to attend all 6 sessions and to be open to meeting new people. You may also be asked to bring a snack to a meeting and to contribute to the cost of the materials used.

What is a typical Home Group session like?
A typical meeting lasts between 1½ and 2 hours. There is a time of conversation, followed by a 20 to 30 minute DVD lesson and then some discussion around the lesson.

Home Group Hosts have already provided the home and the materials. All you need to do is sign up and show up! It’s that simple.
