We fight giants every day, don’t we? They come in many forms – illness, job security, and broken relationships, to name a few. So we can relate to what it must have been like for David, small and insignificant, to be staring down a seemingly insurmountable enemy. Yet, armed only with a slingshot, five smooth stones and an unshakable faith in God, David defeated one of the greatest threats Israel ever knew.

On May 18 at 7:30 pm and May 19 at 2 pm, Calvary Church’s Creative Arts Kids will present “The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit,” a musical drama about the classic battle between David and Goliath. You won’t want to miss the action as David – a steadfast servant of the Lord – teaches an overwhelming army and an entire nation lessons in courage, loyalty, and faith. David’s story reminds us all that with God, all things are indeed possible!
